Christmas favia critter or normal?

Hey everyone. I bought one of these corals and do not have a coral QT tank (will be getting one)
I dipped twice with coral RX .
I was looking at it and there is a webbed fin/hand looking thing on the top that opens (to gather nutrients I assume) and then closes up again.

This coral and a hammer are literally my first corals so i dont know much about them.
Is the hand thingy and sweeper tentacles normal?

Can't see nothing in picture but sounds like a barnacle or like blaxxun says a feather duster/tube worm.

Look up gaul crab also as they can live Inside an lps coral.

sorry guys, that is not a picture of the coral in question. that is just the type.
looks like one of these dusters.
would this crab live inside the coral?

If it waves like a little hand it's a barnacle, if it deploys like an umbrella it's a feather duster, both harmless

I thought the coral dip would take care of things like that.
IM very weary of putting coral straight into my DT

General consensus is filter feeding crabs dont bother corals/anemones and alot are beneficial like anemone crabs.

They use fan like ligatures on their claws/feet to grab food with.

Awesome. Appreciate it. I think theyre actually super cool as long as they dont harm my fish and corals
