Christmas in October

I have been asking a few questions in the forum lately, working my way towards the new tank.
Well, went to the LFS today and bought some of the equipment for the new tank today, some I came home with

and some will have to be

ordered. What I got:

Bubble Magnus Dosing Pump
1 MP 40 the second one will come out of my 125g tank
1 Tunze Auto top off system
1 Apex Lite & PH probe, want to bet I won't get this to work

1 300w heat probe
1 Mag 1200 pump tank return
1 Mag 950 for manifold
2 GFO/ Carbon reactors
1 Reef Octopus Bio Pellet Reactor
Was going to buy the Kalk Reactor, LFS owner talked me out of that for right now.
Almost forgot

2 AOI Sol LED lights

Since I spent most of my

money, I just put some money on store credit towards the tank, The tank will be made by DSA, size will be 48x24x25 could be 48x30x25, we will see later on that,
in the mean time I can start building the stand and get the electrician to the house for a new wall outlet.
I am getting smarter though, I remembered to take the price stickers off of the boxes this time,
and gave the wife her Christmas spending money today.

I think I messed up, :squigglemouth: again, nothing that can't be fixed though. When I was in the store buying all of my goodies yesterday, I was having the LFS owner order my 2 new Evolution LED lights for my tank (an email to Evolutions told me 2 of their lights would cover my 48x24x25 tank), he told me that for a mere $200 more I could get 2 AOI lights, and I am like, yea, that makes since, ok, order the AOIs. Two AOIs won't cover my tank will they, I still need another light.

When I was reading your equipment list I said to myself that 2 Sol's wasnt going to be enough.... Not trying to open a can of worms here but I hope you dont plan on any light demanding sps, the sols will keep them alive but growth prob wont be great.

Hmm sorry about the negative overtones. I think your list of equipment looks great. Also get that kalk reactor. I think kalkwasser is steroids for your reef.

I wll be getting the third AI Sol Blue for sure , most likey a fourth and a fifth also, as the tank I am really wanting will be 48x30x25, thats still up in the air though. The 48x30x25 might mean that I would need another MP 40 also. The new tank will pretty much all SPS corals and the zoas that I will be transfering over from my 125g. All of the softy corals in the 125g won't be making the move.

Well, went to the LFS today to check if any of the goodies that had to be ordered had come in pretty much everything had come in except the Apex controler and only one of the two AI Sol Blue LED lights had come in. So much for the bad news Sooo, onto the good news When I was ordering all of the goodies the other day, I was pealing off C notes like they were confetti, After everything was paid for, I was guessing that I had a few C notes in my account towards the new tank Wrong What I had was, enough left over to pay for the new tank, not the 48x24x25 tank that I was going to settle for, but the 48x30x25 tank that I really wanted Not only that but I had a few C notes left over on top of that Soooo I ordered another AI Sol Blue LED light, that will be three lights. Also, the Apex controller that I ordered was the good one except this one didn't have the stuff on it to set it up on my puter, The LFS owner said that that model was out of stock, so we ordered the one that can be hooked up to the puter, also ordered a 40 breeder for the sump. I didn't order the tank yet though, the wife wants me to wait till after Christmas, we are going to have a bunchhh of people over at the house for a family party and she dosn't want all of the tank stuff laying all over the house. But it sure is nice knowing the tank is paid for
