No stringy poop, breathing is normal and its eats fine just struggles to swim . Yesterday it swam kinda bobbing like motion, not the usual swimming pattern of a wrasseUsually, with a swim bladder issue they will “float” rather than sink... have you seen any white-stringy poop? Intestinal parasites can cause similar symptoms...

It could be but I dont see how, had it just a week. It swims with the head pointing slightly. Up and tail downHm... could be a spinal injury :/ Could you maybe post a video?
Not vertical, but head is slightly up and tail down kinda at an angle not straight. Is he swimming head up (vertical)? Watch his swimming and see if he has decreased use of his tail. If this is the case it is probably a spinal injury.

Got a short video of it swimming, from what you can see, what do you think ?That does sound like the “spinal injury “ wrasses suffer. Time will only tell but unfortunately a low percentage pull through this. If you can get a video we can confirm this. This doesn’t always seem to be from injury either it does appear to be brought on my meds also. I don’t know what the mechanism is that actually causes it in all cases but I’m pulling for you.
You can try dosing pure USP Epsom salts at 1 Tablespoon per 5G to possibly help with swelling. I would recommend keeping him in low flow if this is a spinal injury.
I posted a video on Facebook here is the link, from what you can see , what do you think is wrong ?Hm... could be a spinal injury :/ Could you maybe post a video?
I posted to a groupIs the video private, or posted in a private group? The link didn’t work for me

Dang not the news I wanted to hear, how on earth could it injure its spine ?Ok, that does look like a spinal injury unfortunately. Can try the epsom salt, but besides that not much to be done but wait and see if it resolves... prognosis is not so great![]()
