I've had my christmas wrasse for a couple months now and he has always been laid back and very peaceful. Tonight I bought a beautiful candy basslet and the wrasse just won't leave him alone. Does anyone know why this is and what I can do to stop it? I love both fish and it would be a pain in the *** to try and catch this candy basslet and take him back to my LFS. The wrasse is pretty aggressive towards up and seems to be trying his best to nip at him :(

By Christmas wrasse, do you mean Halichoeres ornatissimus? If so, that's the nature of that species; they're not very kind once mature. I'd remove it.
