Christmas Wrasse

I have a christmas wrasse and a red banded hawkfish in observation as i just picked them up yesturday. I have 2 pieces of pvc and a bowl of sand in the tank, the wrasse was in the sand bed all night when it came out today it looks like the hawkfish nipped its sides. Would metro or kana be good for that issue to make sure no bacterial infection happens?

Red Banded Hawks are among the more aggressive species. If I wanted to do a peaceful community tank I would have gotten a Longnose or Flame.
