How many chromis would i be able to fit in a 14g cube if they are the only fish? How about pajama cardinals? Or anyother kind of cardinals

Chromis explore a lot, school somewhat, and get up to about 5”. I don’t think 14 gallons is large enough for one.

Pajama cardinals don’t quite as large, but they certainly like to roam a lot. I personally wouldn’t keep one in a 14 gallon, either.

If you relocate them later, you could get a few tiny ones. But they do grow fast.

You can get away with a lot, but I generally observe recommendations for minimum tank sizes to offer the minimum chance of a happy fish.

Look into a smaller species of cardinal. You could keep a group of 5 Apogon parvulus, and could put a Trimma goby with them in a tank that size. Probably even get away with a green banded goby as well. Add some sexy shrimp, and a pom pom crab, and you have a very busy tank of all micro fish.

Flame or pajama cardinal may be a better bet. Banghai is hit and miss as they get along or fight til one is left

Divers Den sells mated bangaii's - check every day and only order if weather is good temps.
