I got three BG Chromis a couple days ago. Everything looked and seemed ok last night, but this morning i noticed only one of them has this pinkish spot. i haven't noticed any aggression from any of the others so im wondering if it is some sort of bacterial infection perhaps? And if so, this would be my first time having to medicate so any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. The larger QT tank they are in currently reads... 0 Ammonia 0 Nirtite and 10 Nitrate. I have a smaller 10 gallon QT i can add some water to from my DT and throw this little guy in if it is isolated to only him nd not super contagious. These are the best photos i could get of the little bugger. 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg

Possibly uronema, which chromis seem pretty susceptible to. Do you have access to chloroquine phosphate?

Not immediately. I would have to order it it looks like. All i would have immediate
access to is what is typically sold in any LFS.

You can try formalin baths and nitrofurazone/methylene blue. Just make sure with the formalin that you have plenty of aeration.
