Chromis Injury or Illness?

I noticed one, of my 3, of my chromis has a bad spot on it. My other fish look and act fine but I also can't find the smallest of my chromis. Does it look like a disease or did it get caught between a fallen rock, or something else? The only larger fish are my clown and a flame tip tang.

I was finally able to get a few more pictures. I'm not sure if they help, but I also added one of the opposite side of the ill/injured chromis.

OK, so there's a couple of usual things we see with Chromis:

First there is uronema that is very common in Chromis. A red-ish sore develops on the sides of the fish. Not good. By the time the red-ish sore appears it's usually too late to save the fish.

Second, some groups of Chromis do not get along very well. They kinda pick each other off until just one remains.

If there's no redness to that cut/injury, it's likely it's the other Chromis aggression results.

Thanks for the info. There is a bit of redness on the very bottom of its belly. It seems to isolate itself by staying hidden in the corner as well. These two have been together for over a year. Could they still turn and pick on one another after that long?
Also, this is day 3, I think, that this chromis has had this problem. Would putting it in the sump help? If it is being picked on?

Fish are like cavemen sometimes. You just don't know why they do what they do. But yes, fish can be fine together, especially, conspecifics for awhile and then boom! One turns on the other. Hidding in the corner is a common behavior of fish being picked on.

That does make the most sense. After all... no other fish are showing signs of illness and the smallest of my 3 chromis is MIA. It was about half the size of the other two. So I think I have a bully in my tank. Think it would help to move either of the two chromis into my refugium for a while?

If that is the case it’s probably just going to delay the inevitable. The healthy one clearly is the alpha. May make more sense to give him away.
