Chrysophtes and Flucanzole ?

Hi can any one tell if they have treated chrysophtes with flucanzole ?

Chrysophtes is a bad fungus infection like a nuisance algae so i have been told , I need to know if I can kill off the infection with a treatment of flucanzole

It works quite well on many many algaes. Interesting stuff.

Huh....had to edit a space before the # sign to get that tag to be a tag. Edit complete!
 
I had those for months. Not impossible to deal with by hand, but it is difficult. You can blow it off of rockwork and suck it out.

I finally beat mine after manually removing what I could and doing a three day lights out period. While doing this I dosed PO4/NO3 as chrysophytes prefer clean water. I ended up doing three cycles to kick mine. If possible, introduce a competing algae (like green film algae from glass of an established tank) to out compete it for space. I used bacteria competion but I think algae would be better long term.
