So this tank has been up and running for around a year or so and I forgot to post a thread on here so I will post pictures showing the progress over the last year.

I would also like to thank Brian (bks709) for holding my live rock and corals after I had problems with my previous tank.

So I got sick of the front of the stand looking like crap so I finally got the ambition to do a new front to it. I plan on either painting the whole thing black or just the back part and staining the doors a light oak. Need to figure that part out. Oh and my sis is going to do mosaic glass reef scenes on the doors. Should look beautiful when done.

Doors propped up. Just need to get some hinges.

That's pretty much a short description of the tank over the last year. I look forward to comments and questions.

Thanks guys.

The LEDs are a 50/50 mix of 26 Cree XR-E royal blue and 26 Cree XR-E cool white

Just scored a brand new MP40 in the box for $150!! So much more flow in the tank now. All I need now is to upgrade the driver so that I can get some random wave action going. I'm gonna get a new video posted to youtube later today.

Chuck the tank is looking great and the clam you picked up from me is looking right at home and hope the chalice frag and other things i sent you home with are doing good for you. And i need to stop by your place and check out the tank in person. Also the next time you are over bring your camera.

Hey thanks guys. Brian, everything is doing great. You can check out the tank whenever. I've been working a lot of nights lately so its gonna be hard to meet up. And I will for sure bring my camera and tripod next time I'm out that way.

Couple corals I got at Preuss's black friday sale, buy 2 get 2 free.

Thanks. It bleached out but is starting to color back up. Slowly getting the green back into the tissue.

Well I went into emergency mode yesterday when my power was shut off due to my former roomate. I unfortunately was stuck out of town for an interview and having to try and get power back on. The tank sat with no power for around 8 hours. Thankfully my landlord allowed me to run an extension cord to an outlet that had power. My apartment hit 58 and my tank stayed a cozy 78 all night. Its amazing that I didn't lose any livestock.

The doors stained with one coat of polyurethane. Still have one coat to do after work. Keep in mind that the doors will have reef scenes done in mosaic glass.
