Hi, Humble...woke up this AM and saw that Chucky's left pectoral seems to have a piece bitten off...hard to say what happened since everybody is peaceful...there's a pair of ywm, purple fire fish, cleaner shrimp and snails and hermits...I worried about fin rot and had Rally on hand so I used it...any ideas/suggestions...he seems fine otherwise...eating, swimming, good energy, etc...

If I continue the three day treatment for rot, should I change water in between? Am fixing up my ht if I need it...Thanks...:(

Rally is not the best for treating bacterial infections, and I wouldn't dose that stuff in the presence of corals/inverts.

Erythromycin or Kanamycin (i.e. Kanaplex) would be a better choice. Although these would need to be soaked in food, using Seachem Focus as a binder to make the med coral/invert safe.
