Ciliaris Xanthurum battle has ended!

A year after the order, I finally got a Holocanthus Ciliaris. 15-17cm, she went in and bang, the Zebrasoma Xanthurum was on her case immediately, tail slapping and flanking her. She slithered under a rock and hid out. Now she's the centerpiece, the Xanthurum filled with respect for her as he swims past with 3 or 4 angel mouth shaped bites out of his tail. He will have to go back to harrasing the morays.

The Xanthurum is fine. A bit tail frayed but it's already growing back.

The Xanthometopon now lives in a Heteractis due to the Ciliaris. What a clown! He hovers over the anemone but doesn't touch. I guess that why the Ciliaris is called The Queen Angelfish. She's a dominant fish.

Ciliaris has a few white spots. The newcomer syndrome. I did a reef safe MALGREEN treatment and she's looking good. She will need a temp tank if I want to add another fish as she is the big boss. But it's OK. I'm really happy and love watching her under a bit of blue lighting...she looks like a neon lamp.
