Thank you all for the help

I recently did a full tank cipro treatment after struggling to keep any new SPS. I think there was some bacterial infection that caused any new SPS to waste away within 2 weeks. ICP did not show any toxins and after months of battling I decided to dose cipro. It has only been a couple of weeks but so far I have been able to add new SPS without sudden death.

I followed the plan from Mike Paletta in this article. https://reefbuilders.com/2023/04/10/managing-tissue-necrosis/
In short, the dosage was 1mg per gallon every other day for 10 days.

I purchased my cipro from Alivet https://www.allivet.com/product/aqua-cipro-ciprofloxacin/52207.html
I know I am a dry goods seller so you may be asking why we don't sell cipro. There are a lot of legal requirements that go along with selling strong antibiotics I am not interested in dealing with. I think it is best to purchase from a vet supply rather than a reef supply.

My experience was a lot like Mike's in his article within 1 week of treatment my alk consumption doubled and then dropped back down to the baseline. I also had a slight increase in nitrate and phosphate levels during the treatment.
