test kit I have.
Please do tell about low and high range testing. I did not know it was possible with this kit if it is.

Is there another kit I can get Nitrates further dialed in?

I have the master kit, but I believe they are all same. For low range, you use 16ml of water. For high range, 1 ml of tank water and 15ml of RODI water. Reading is multiplied by 16. so if you get 1ppm on low range, it's 16 on high range.

do you have a link for cipro? i did a 100 percent water change and the moma just shiveled up to nothing, and deattached free floating in my pico , maybe i shud give this a try i feel liek if i dont do anything it WILL die
Hi I ordered mine through pet supplies 4 less. Was the first site I came across that I didnt need a prescription. Cheapest as well.

Interesting. My kit does not give me those options. Seems like there are a couple different red sea nitrate test kits out there. Check it out

Quick update here. I skipped last night's treatment. I moved the Jawbreakers under new light and figured that was enough stress for one day.

3rd treatment was done today using 125 mg/half gallon of water.

Only noticable difference is it's not so twisted up and cupping. Was more laid down today and not so dark as previous picture.

Here she is before 3rd treatment. Lights where dimming just before light out.

Treatment #2 has began.
Went with 125 mg/half gallon from my system this time.

Picture before I started 2nd treatment. No noticable changes one way or the other at the moment but is it just me or can you see the red a little better today?

As said nothing fancy or crazy. Just floating in Tupperware in sump with light off.

how long are u keeping it in this bath for ?

Hey @LOVEROCK
I started off with 2 hr dip. Depending how things look I may bump it up to 3 hours as reefer does. I'm taking it slow as I've made alot of changes to just about everything lately and dont want to cause anymore undue stress to anyone.

@TriggerFinger
I am digging the positivity i wont lie fingers are crossed here and going to build off that. Look at the color and marbling coming in? Cant be in my head. Just cant be lol.

No signs of the shroom opening back up.
It definitely has stopped cupping. It's pretty much same size but laying down flatter now. Feel like I'm seeing a little bit of the Jawbreaker glow come back. Definitely not as dark and I am seeing better color.

What yall think?

If you want to send one to me I can try to get it back to all of its glory. Can’t promise I’ll send it back to you though ;Hilarious

Cipro is the way of the force :)
Hey Reefer. Other than treatment to get your shrooms to re attach. Have you had to treat for any of the kind of symptoms I'm trying to correct? Or anything otherwise. If so throw so pictures down with your experiences. I never heard of cipro before I seen you post about it. I'm sure it could be helpful for reefers.

Nope. Afterwards just brought the tank back to it's prime with stability and feeding. I did a full tank treatment about 2 months ago.

Apologize for the lack of updates here.
Skipped last night's treatment again.
Moved shrooms to less lit area on table.
I'm ok with slow and steady as long as she finishes the race lol.

That being said I'm pretty much convinced that cipro treatment is working here.
She's in a terrible spot for pictures now but I'll do my best!

Definitely starting to get color back. No cupping and beginning to open/ lay out on rubble.
Seeing a little green now. Far cry from the state it was in before I began treatment.

Quick update here. Ended up skipping last nights treatment as well.
Considering how much better this shroom looks now I may only treat a couple more times and see how well it settles in.
I promised crappy pictures due to new spot its in but you can clearly see this Cipro treatment is working.

First pic is next to another JB for comparison.
Cipro treated shroom on top.

Here she is by herself.

Amazing job.

Someone had just asked about uses for Cipro and I replied I had never even heard of it. I am way behind. I bet if you throw in some Flagyl to go with it you would have some super type of mutant coral. ;Woot

Great job. Keep updating.
