Do corals shipped outside of our local time zones suffer jet lag. I find more than a few corals I have shipped outside my local time zone take longer to settle in and open up. I figure some of the corals collected need to adjust their days to nights and vice versa. Shipping stresses aside, some corals are fine right out of the bag and then close up taking up to a week to settle back in. Is jet lag a real thing for our corals ?

If I suddenly switched my lighting to midnight to 10 am my corals/fish would probably take a couple of days to adjust.
I think the other stresses of shipping are probably much larger.
