Looks like Hyper-Melanization in which something came in contact with its skin such as anemone or hammer coral and it got stung, which should dissipate. Also noted is tangs are slightly thin showing pinching and ribs.I just noticed this on my powder blue tang, do I need to be concerned about this? That’s the problem with photos - the top photo looks like a serious / deep lesion, but in the lower picture, it looks superficial.I just noticed this on my powder blue tang, do I need to be concerned about this?
