Hello everyone, I have recently purchased a 1050GPH circulation pump and was wanting opinions on placement and where you all think would make it most effective in my tank. I'm also still in the cycling process. Please let me know what you all think! It is a 65 gallon tank with a fluval canister filter 406, 100HOB protein skimmer and UV filter(both not currently on for cycling process). Thank you all for the help!

Honestly one on each side is best so you can get some more random turbulent flow as opposed to linear always in the same direction, but ive put one low on the back wall, that gives a nice flow as it comes forward bounces off the front glass and goes across the front, or the upper 3rd on one of the sides is always a safe bet

Thank you for your reply!! I only have one fan at the moment to get started with, but the thinking I got can sync up to three together! I was kinda thinking of putting it on the back wall in the middleish so it can push the water threw the rocks because I dont want to risk stagnant water there. But I was wanting opinions of other since I'm still so new to this hobby

I think with the one, the back wall is a good idea for now, looks nice so far!

Thank you, so you think that the middleish will be good till I decide to get another? And then with 2 put one bottom left and top right ir vice versa?

I run 3 heads. One on the left and one on the right. Third is on the bottom side by the back blowing behind my rock work to keep it from being a dead zone.
