Circulation pump

Just threw out a ciculation pump I used to mix sw . It started smoking in the bucket that I was preparing for water change. Is the water ok to use.

Bucket is fine. I'm really considering just tossing the water.

I would toss it. Water may be ok, but not worth the risk imo.

Thanks. I hate throwing a full bucket of freshly mixed water away. Its safer than not
