Cladophora prolifera experience?

I have the chance to get some Cladophora prolifera for my Macro Tank but there's almost no info on it and I've heard from a few people it doesn't do too well in aquariums, does anyone have any experience with this species?

They do just fine as long as you got nutrients to keep them thriving, it’s not the best looking algae though but it’s a nice green addition to the tank. The only downside is that because it is so dense it can get full of detritus if keep in a low flow area.
