Clam gaping?

Is my clam gaping or just very happy? And just to the right of the inlet opening, it looks like the mantle is thinning?
or do I just need to calm down?

I don’t have a par meter but the clams have been there for months showing new growth. What about the partially see through patch to the right of the inlet siphon?

I have three. Just bought an 1 1/4” maxima from liveaquaria.

Watch those babies. They can be awfully fussy. I suggest getting it a nice space where it will not get bothered much (clam holder or such) and leave it be. Stirring up the rock debris and sand usually makes it happy. Good food in there.
