My clam doesn't seem to fully close and isn't as colorful as it once was....any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Might be lighting. Clams need a lot of light and seeing that your trachy looks good those typically don't need much light at all.

What fish and inverts do you have?
How old is the tank?
What lights do you have?
What are your water params?

Try some photoplankton, your clam looks small, so it will benefit from this. Most clams under 2-3" will need supplemental feedings

Yeah, it doesn't look good. How long have you had it? Was it thriving for a while in this location? My maxima looked like that before it died. Hope you have better luck.

+1 on this

And on what lights your running?

Also what size is the clam, and where did you purchase it from, and how long have you had it?

Clams need a strong intense light and without that will be ok for a little while but eventually starve and start to shrivel up and die. There is no need to try and feed them phyto, they can not absorb it. There Zoo algae in there mantel is all they need to really survive. They can consume nitrates but not large amounts.
