Hi everyone,
I have this mushroom rock and there is a round shape embedded in to it. I was sure it's part of the rock but I noticed the mouth is closing and opening from time to time

Can you help me ID this clam?

no ID, but I want it!
I have a lot of hitchhiker bivalves. Is it from a wild coral culture or Fl live rock?
keep lots of Phyto in the sys and dont skim to hard itll out live us all.

It's a live rock that came with the mushroom corals on it. Got it from live aquaria

cool. Youd have to know where the rock came from and look into clams from that region. You can also look at google image searches of clams and bvalves. Not a popular hobby so not usually a lot on the net about them,
I do have one thats much smaller but has similar markings. FWIW i belive it has eyes as it reacts when i place my hand over the light.

The description for this was "Mushroom Rock Actinodiscus Indonesia"

I only noticed the mouth moving today so far I was sure it was dead
