Help! I Have a 8" Derase Clam that has been closed for 2 days now, Its been in are 240Gallon tank for Several months now and was super healthy and happy. It just changed over night. We also have other clams in the tank. We tired doing a freashwater dip the other night and its still closed. I hope we dont lose it. Nitrates, KH, and the Calcium are good. Everything else in the tank is looking good. Any suggestions on what to do?

How long have you had it? I have had two derasa clams do this to me. It happened to both at about the seven year mark. They were about the same size as yours. I wasn't able to save either one. I hope you have better luck.

What fish and inverts do you have? What do you dose and how do you add it? What are your params? Do you run carbon or GFO?

Can you post a pic?
