Hard to get scale on camera but my gigas is the size of a football almost. I’ve also attached a pic of when I first got it compared to my 8-10 inch maxima.

I'd be curious to know the survival rate of these dudes. It's a deep water clam, right? Really not meant for our bright high flow water boxes. Cool nonetheless! Do they just come in randomly with a shipment or do you specifically ask for them?

Hippopus is looking great! I mean they all are, but that Hippopus is nice. Do you know what PAR you have it in? Mine's usually not quite that open, wondering if I should up it.

I started with two that I bought back in May 29, 2024 from clam mania. I bought a blue crocea and a gold maxima. I sadly lost the gold maxima, but the blue crocea is still going strong. This is my second crocea that I’ve had. I seem to have better success with crocea.

Looks like a maxima, but I would keep an eye on that Centropyge, they’re known nippers.
