Clam on my overflow

Iv thought this was a baby snail but as it got bigger you can see it’s a clam or mussel of some kind. I’m not really sure where he could of come from I started with bleached dry rock an he’s attached to the bottom of my over flow. Any one else have a similar clam?

I have in the past, I remove them.
