Clam/Scallop/etc ID help

Trying to figure out what is living in this shell on the under side of my hammer. It looks to have reddish flesh and is quick to shut when it senses something nearby.

Seems like euphillia are a favourite among bivalves... is it as common as it seems to me?

I agree. I also note most filter feeders donthis as well. Sponges tunicates and vermatid snails.
Lower controlled flow I’d wager it’s a happy place.
Much like all the bi valves I get from zoa colonies that have crashed at the lfs.
