Clam?

Found this attached to some live rock I bought.

Yup. Some kind of small bivalve. Great filter feeders.

I noticed it about 4 months ago, it was about a 1/4 inch at the time, but I didn't think it was alive and it ended up in my refugium. I was cleaning the sump when I noticed it again and it's about an inch long now and I can see it open and close.

So? How is mystery clam doing? How big now? Did it turn into a beauty or just a plain old clam? I'm interested as I've had a mystery clam for a year now and still hold out hope that it's a good one.
