What can I feed my clam? Can someone please give me a link where to get what I can feed my clam

Tridacna Clams get most, if not all, of their nutrients from their host zooxanthellae. Zooxanthellae gets its food from the intense light from the sun or in our case, intense light manufactured from our lighting. In return, the zooxanthellae provides the clams much needed sugar, lipids and other nutrients.
They are filter feeders so they also filter bacteria, organic and inorganic matter from aquarium water which is either absorbed or filtered through their gills.
There is a constant debate over whether, or not, feeding small micron phytoplankton is beneficial or just an urban legend. Usually, it’s a case of either having too many clams or not enough waste producers in the form of fish to provide clams with an alternative food source to what their zooxanthellae provides.
You can dose small amounts of phytoplankton as a option once in awhile, however, if the plankton size is too large, the clams will expel it similar to like its coughing or sneezing by closing and opening its shell.

What type of clam? Clams really don't need to be fed given you have the proper lighting and parameters. They will filter and have the ability to absorb nitrate, ammonia/ammonium, phosphate in the water. If you use phytofeast make sure you don't spot feed the clam.

Make sure it's getting plenty of light, stable chemistry and not to clean of a tank. Broadcast occasional feedings won't hurt but are not necessary for survival. New shell growth on the upper margin of the shell will tell you if the clam is growing and healthy.

Thankyou
