I would say that the puffer wouldn’t kill it directly but more stress it out to the brink of death (Constantly nip at the fleshy part).Stupid question, I have a Valentino puffer. For a while now i got my eyes on clams, would the puffer kill the clam? I am thinking YES, but share your opinion also. Thanks.
Wait, what’s the second puffer? The nipping would be a problem, yeah. Well there is only one option....donating 2 puffers hahah
Blue spotted and valentini. Max size.Wait, what’s the second puffer?
If I didn’t want a mixed reef, I’d have the blue spotted puffer in an instant. They truly are beautiful fish! My LFS has a beautiful Leopard Toby in and I would snatch it up in an instant if I wasn’t going for a mixed reef.Blue spotted and valentini. Max size.
The blue spotted is actually an amazing fish. I have a few shrooms in the tank an had no issues. The only issue was with a xenia, he eate that coral in a few days. And the ocasionall snail. So that is why I am concerned about the clam, I think it will be food for the puffer. If I didn’t want a mixed reef, I’d have the blue spotted puffer in an instant. They truly are beautiful fish!
