Favorite right now

My plans are to setup a smaller tank plumbed into the DT for the clams, then turn the flow back up for the acros.

Nice looking collection. I wouldn't worry about flow and clams too much, if the mantle isn't permanantly bent over due to too much flow then they are fine. I have mine in a whirlwind right along with my SPS.

wow nice bunch of clams you have there how long have you been collecting them

I always wanted to buy clams but I just end up spending the money on more sps lol

Very nice! you should send me those Croceas! I can't find any at a reasonable price anymore...

I picked the cultured Croceas out at a swap meet in Sept. from Dr. Mac's display. That is really the best time to buy clams when you have a tank full to choose from.
Do you know anyone that has bought any of the redsea clams that were imported recently?

Nice!
Do you QT your clams?

No. Right or wrong I scrub with toothbrush, and inspect in FW dip for 5 mins. This short FW bath may not be helpful, but clams have always opened right up afterwards.
Clams do not seem bothered. I know the 20-30min FW dip is harsh on clams though. So, I in no way would tell anyone to FW dip that long unless last resort.
