I was wondering if anyone is interested in clams at the swap. I am looking for a few for my tanks and was going to pick up a few more from a friend if there is interest. I think pricing will end up being around $60-90 for 2.5-3" maximas and croceas.

I didn't see any black maximas... Greens, blues, golds, and purples (are supposed to all be there;)). I'll ask and see if they have any black teardrops:).

A lfs brought a few clams 2 years ago and they were HOT sellers!! Go for it Gary!! We need to make sure we have a variety!! I might be interested in another golden - I got one locally but the foot was damaged and it didn't make it.

Ahhh. Then I'm out. Sounds like the bases are pretty well covered for anything I've got (acans, micros, sps, etc.)... Oh well. I'll just bring a 20L sparsely filled instead of a 40B packed, then. Frags swaps are so iffy for sellers like me. I didn't even come close to breaking even with the trip costs at the last MTRC swap, then lost most of what I didn't sell before I got home (once one thing goes in that small a water volume, it doesn't take long). I had a good run at the ETRC swap, but there weren't many people set up with tanks;).

Thanks for the info guys-I forgot there would be some large vendors there. I'd have once again been stuck with a lot of stock. I have grand ideas when it comes to swaps, but then that's why I have so many tanks (they have to have a place to go when no one wants them:D).

No Gary! We need people like you! I need to get some stuff like you bring! :)

I am not sure what size frags Dr. mac is bringing. Have you been to a swap when is there selling? I still hope you will come and bring your usual supply of coral Gary. Get some of your stuff listed in a presell thread and that way you will guarantee your sales.

Ya gary, you have to bring some stuff, you know our swaps never let you down, Plus I would hope you arnt competing in price with a vendor, you just have to outsell him! LOL!
You also shouldnt have as far to drive as the MT swap right? we can send you with some fresh water to if that will help

Oh, I'll be bringing some stuff, just not sure what kinds... I come across negative a lot when I don't mean to (I'm a bit brash and terse, especially in writing sometimes). Of course, I've not been sleeping well for a few weeks doesn't allow for policing what I type effectively (and a 10 hour work day today beginning at 3:45AM-no more of those;)). I'll bring a little of everything, but I know now not to bring a lot of any one thing. Probably common sense... I have a potential presale that will cover gas, so the rest is gravy:).

I'll work on some pictures. My thread in the Member Tanks forum has a lot of good shots of the mothers, so I've got a start. I usually like to have a presale thread up by now. Life just gets in the way of life so much these days;).

Got them today, but worked 12-8, so I haven't had a chance to take pictures. I'll get some up tomorrow night. Lost several (the box was broken in three places from Fed Ex...), but got some nice ones. I'd never seen Orange crocea...

Couldn't sleep (still have at least 4 hours before work:). Of course, I'm keeping three of them (four with the spunky squamosa-it relieved some stress shortly after arriving:D.

Are you talking about the last pic? If so, those are likely two that I'll keep (along with a golden teardrop):). I got a couple of other black ones, but without the brown streaking (almost solid black except for the glowing rim). There are only a couple that don't just stand out, but they've got redeeming qualities, too.
