So my maxima threw itself off the top of the tank. It fell to the bottom into the darkness in between a bunch of rocks. I went in to retrieve it, moved a big piece of rock that my derasa was attached to. I was very careful and gentle but it must of startled it and it detached from its foot completely, or so I think it is completely, but it definitely is not attached to the rock anymore. anyway I retrieved the maxima and placed it lower in the tank on another rock and placed the Derasa back on her rock as well. Is she going to be ok? I definitely was careful in moving the rock and was gentle, she definitely let go on her own. She is open again now and looks normal except that she is not attached.

I do not have experience with Duresa losing feet but I do with maxima and squamosa. In both cases the clams were fine. Just let them be. Should be okay.
