When do you guys think an appropriate time is to have a clam. My tank is also bare bottom. But I have seen clam shell holders that I would use. Just an idea. But more importantly how long are we talking. Are they hardier ? Thanks

if you can keep SPS you can keep clams. Similar sort of requirements. When do you guys think an appropriate time is to have a clam. My tank is also bare bottom. But I have seen clam shell holders that I would use. Just an idea. But more importantly how long are we talking. Are they hardier ? Thanks
I recently introduced a Crocea into my tank about a month ago. My tank (not bare bottom) has been up for 6 months and has pocis, acros, porites, leptoseris and montis in it. I can’t exactly determine whether or not 6 months is appropriate although my pocis, acros and montis especially are growing and colouring well. Anyhow this tank isn’t my only tank and is the youngest so if the corals and clams start heading south I can always transfer them back to my main SPS dominated tanks. When do you guys think an appropriate time is to have a clam.
