So I have a 75 gallon tank. Saltwater. How hard is it to keep clams? I am not a novice more middle of the road. I do have some frags etc so again not a rookie either. Any thoughts?
Also are seahorses hard to keep? At one time I had heard they may have been endangered? Maybe they can’t even be purchased not sure. I may be wrong. Don’t want to get something either that is so difficult that I would even risk it not surviving. Any thought on clams or seahorses would be great.

The main thing with clams is the need for strong lighting and ensuring you keep alk/calc up. They do use a lot.

As for seahorses there are certainly many available options. In my opinion they can be more challenging because they need a lot of food...very often. In the wrong setup that can really do a number on your nutrient levels. Also a lot of other things to be aware of you can't just plop them into any random mixed reef tank. Lots of good info on them in these forums from people who know lot more than I.
