A note about my experience with the two.

Both filter the water with typical roller filter effectiveness.

Clarisea is compact, easy to install and take out. I remove it to change the roll. Easier and faster than fitting myself into the cabinet. I don't know how long the motor will last.

Thieling is bulky and not easy to take out but the roll changes easily. The motor lasted for four years. A replacement motor is easy to get, 40ish dollars and in stock.

The rolls for Clarisea cost 16 each. Thieling cost 20. Thieling rolls last for 3-6 months. Clarisea about 2-3 weeks. A significant operating cost difference and changing schedule.

My new set-up is too cramped for the Thieling so its the Clarisea. The Thieling is great if there is room.

Good info for those who are considering one of these.
