I have this installed in my sump.
When I manually pushed the button, it works when I lift up on the float switch it works. When the water gets high enough to lift the float switch, it doesn’t work and the red alarm light goes off.
Has anyone else had an issue?

I think it’s working
But the water is so high inside the filter almost overflowing
It seems like the float just needs to be a little bit lower, but there’s no way to do that

Mine runs at about that same level. I have had that alarm before. My issue was that the filter paper had been partially "pushed" aside from the holes it covers, allowing the water to bypass the filter paper. I'm not sure if that might be an issue for you or not. I no longer use ClariSea brand rolls though so I'm not sure if it's been an issue for those or not. In other words, it was not the ClariSea rolls I had that issue with.

Mystery is solved
There’s a drain plug at the bottom of the unit. It wasn’t screwed in all the way, and water was leaking out the bottom.

That's not just a drain it's a bypass so you can fine tune it, that said mine is fully closed

We come to the site for guidance and instructions. We help one another we don’t second-guess them.
Hopefully someone else runs into this problem. They’ll know to screw the drain plug-in all the way.

Still can't work out if you have a problem, your tone was sarcastic in suggesting I should of offered this information 2 weeks ago, did you consider the fact not every person on this site saw your post immediately, appreciate you had an issue but it's not exactly rocket science checking the drain was closed
