i have the media kept clumping up in the middle how to fix this ?

I have been encountering the same issue. My theory is that the unit is too far out of the water, and the higher pressure puts too much tension on the filter paper and causes it to crease. I’m waiting on the plumbing parts necessary to lower it (I hard-plumbed mine).

If possible, try lowering yours?
