Hi guys, so I have begun to cycle my new tank. Is it OK that I installed clarisea already or should I wait to add fish in first? My cycle parameters are steady for 2nd week now but not yet there. I still have 0.25 nh3, and 0.15 no2 while no3 is at 10. It's been like this for 2 weeks now. Am I doing something wrong? Tank in cycling for 5th week atm. Ty

all what it will catch is gonna be detritus and sand, since there is no waste yet. its ok but you might be just wasting your filter roll.
Regarding cycling can you give us more information on how you started your cycle?

The .25 ammonia is likely a false positive. The nitrite reading is probably real and negates your nitrate measurement. Nitrate cannot be accurately measured in the presence of nitrite. 5th week of cycle you can add a fish. Clarissa is fine to use now.

I used live sand and rocks from established tank. Although rocks were dry for couple of days .
I didn't add any additional bacteria or anything else.
