Just found out that my clarkii and maroon clowns laying eggs on the pot. DT has the ich about 2 1/2 month ago so I moved this two clown fish to a 20 gallon quarantin tank using copper treatment. It has been about 2 1/2 month now and they are laying eggs. I'm new to this hobby and I don't have any idea on how to breed them. So if any breeder have any suggestion please share it with us reefers.
Thanks for sharing.

This was taken when they were in the DT befor the tank got the ich.

I'm going to be following your thread. I had no idea that a clarkii and maroon would pair. Interesting.

Same here. I was told by the LRS around here that I can not put them together or they will kill each other or they have never seen one pair. I had the clarkii in the living room 100 gallon tank for about 1 years when I started up. I did not have the maroon at that time. The clarkii was getting very agressive with the other fish during that time. About 6 month later my wife wanted a 200 gallon in the basement so I got her one and move the clarkii down there and also got a maroon clown at the same time. 2 months ago my 200 gallon got the ich. Had to moved them in a 20 gallon copper treatment tank. They have been in there for about 2 month already and today I came home from work and saw a lot of eggs on the pot. Yes it's very odd to see this at the same time it's very awesome for me to see it happen specially for a new hobbyist like me. I will have to wait for the next time when they breed again. I still have to learn how to set up a system for them, food, etc.. If any breeder have any suggestion please feel free to share with us. Thanks
