Over the past few days, my three clarkii clowns (which i have had for about 6 months) have been attacking the saebe anemone that had been in my tank for about 4 months and they have ultimately killed it. They carry the carcass around the tank and fight over it If i try to get the carcass out, they attack the claw and rip the carcass out of the claws. I have never seen or heard of this before, they are becoming extremely aggressive. Has anyone seen this happen before. I will be catching them sometime this week and put them in the wife's predator tank.

What color was the anemone?

Was it an H. crispa or an H. malu?

How big was the anemone?

I have heard (( and seen )) clowns "loving" an anemone to death.

As for their aggression, I just see it getting worse, and it most likely will be directed at the 3rd clown.
