Hi guys, I'm new here, I have an odd question...
Last night I had two clarkii clowns. I woke up this morning and only have 1?!?! There's a lid on the tank and I cant find any body. Just one fish. It was the bigger of the two that remains. So the question is.. Can clarkii Clownfish kill and eat other clowns in the tank and consume it within 6 hrs???????

Do you have an aio tank?

It only a 20 gallon ( yea I know too small. I'm actually upgrading this week to a bigger one and using the 20gallon as a sump/refuge area. It's the weirdest thing. The fish has just disappeared. The only explination I think is that the bigger of the two has eaten it. But I just can't see that. Unless the aliens have beamed him up.... I'm proper confused

Sorry to keep posting on these people. But here's a video of the tank and the remaining clarkii. The missing one was slightly smaller than that one. In fact if you look at my profile pic you'll see them together. I came back expecting to find it again but nothing.. And no remains ?????

I had a small clown that somehow jumped through a tiny 0.5" opening in the screen lid where the auto feeder is located and died on top of the lid. Now I block that section w a piece of acrylic. Otherwise, if u have a good CUC they would have made quick work of any small dead fish. Oh and yes if the clowns weren't already mated pair & they dont get along then yes the more aggressive one could have killed the other but not eaten it.

Definately no fish outside the tank. Iv just done an ammonia test and nothing. The rock was dry and I flushed it for weeks before hand. All my parameters are good. The only thing would be yellowing of the water. I have no cuc yet as I were getting them this week. I am totally stumped.
Thanks, for the feedback tho guys. Much appreciated
