Clarksville - Nashville relocation?

In about a week, my wife & I will be visiting the Clarksville - Nashville area.

Any recommendations for good towns maybe halfway in-between the two? The problem is I will be making weekly runs to the airport, and Clarksville seems a little far away. TIA

Ashland City centrally located between the two.

Think there's a little town called Springfield in between I really enjoyed going to..

Hendersonville would be a good spot.

We'll be driving up to Clarksville this Saturday (6/10). Can't wait to check out the area. Probably visit Knoxville the week after.
