Class tank

I have a quick question. Our classroom has a 30 gallon bio cube aquarium. It is a FOWLR with just a few small fish and a CUC. My question is do I need to add liquid calcium to the tank for the snails?

they are able to command enough from the abundance in the saltwater and from dietary intake, they're good to go!

Ok. Our classroom tank is doing great but our chocolate chip startfish not so great. We have had him for about 5 months and up until Monday he was doing great. On Monday we noticed that he was supe pale. On Tuesday he was upside down and we thought he had died. Nope. He's still alive and moves but not like he use to. He is still super pale. Checked water and all parameters are in the safe zone. Any ideas what could be causing this. Had no luck searching on google so I told the teacher I would ask on here. Thanks in advance for any ideas or comments.

What is common to most starfish declining and dying is that he's starving. Feed him!

He is fed on a daily basis. We give him freeze dried brine shrimp along with frozen food. We actually put the dried brine shrimp directly on him and watch him eat the entire thing. Should we feed him twice a day??
