Classic EB8 problems, can someone help?

I have noticed that refugium light has not been on, so I checked the outlet status between the on and auto function for the outlet. Everything looks good there! If I unplug from the outlet and reply the cord I here like a breaker reset from inside the EB8 and the light will come on, but at some point will go back off. Anyone experience this?

I'm certainly no expert, but if it's a blown TRIAC, @Electrotech did a very nice write-up on testing and replacing same.

Have you tried a different outlet on the eb8? ( just a process of elimination). It sounds like a short or similar in the light itself. You can plug light into a wall outlet to see if the behavior is the same. If so, you then know it is the light
