Classified Feedback Rating System: What would you add?

You may may or may not have seen that we are slowly introducing a new classified system and other options that come along with that. One option is a buyer and seller feedback rating system here.

I'm posting this thread today because we want to build out the features of the rating system. Make it better so to speak and I need your help.

How could we make the feedback rating system better? What options would you like to see available in the rating system? For example: Maybe a Wall of Fame for highest rated members.

I would want a “state” selector under the “filters” tab. It would be awesome to see all the postings in my state. (Instead of having to put a distance)

Are you referring to the classifieds or the review system? This topic is for the review system currently.

Ive sold dozens of items as well as bought many. This would have been helpful sooner. I guess it will depend on a buyer to report experience for this to have effect

This is new but you’re welcome to have them come back and leave you feedback for past sales!

Kinda defeats the purpose for feedback to be classified.

From your screen shot it looks like how many sales is missing. If one person has a 96% rating with 1000 sales and another person has a 100% rating with 1 sale I would likely prefer the 96% for equal items

personally, maybe making it more “mandatory” to post feedback on purchases. i understand it difficult when we have many hobby level vendors, but it helps with trusting a new vendor if i can see some consistency with transactions.

i try to leave feedback for every seller i’ve bought from, to help other people looking for the same thing as i am(trust worthiness, and consistency)

maybe creating incentives like top feedback members/worst feedback members as mentioned above

yeah, that’s the challenge… perhaps using “mandatory” was a poor choice on my part. couldn’t think of another word to describe it

Feedback scores used to be a big thing. Doesn't seem to be of much importance now.
I've given out feedback to several people in the past year or so, and have received none in return.
Maybe more threads on the value that feedback presents.

One thing I do, though I only do limited sales, is after the sale is completed I send a pm to leave feedback. Most people can’t even find it.
Maybe have a button or something that a seller can click that sends the buyer a direct link to leave feedback?
