Classroom Saltwater tank ?

ok here is another question. I visited my LFS and was told the Hydor pump I ordered was too big for my 32biocube. she said that an 800 was the biggest that tank could handle? Does that make sense?
What model of the Hydor did you purchase? I'm not completely familiar with the Hydor power heads, but I do believe they are not controllable so you would definitely want to get something that would suit your tank without blowing everything out of the water.

the 1050- 1150 is what I ordered. I do see a
Hydor Smart Wave Circulation Pump Controller, guess ill have to order this as well if the pump is to big for the tank

My LFS runs a Hydor Koralia 1950gph powerhead with the wideflow cover on it in their 32 gallon biocube (they come with several covers with different dispersal patterns) and their corals and fish are doing great. I ran one in my 36 gallon bowfront and it was fine.

That's gonna be a ton of flow for a biocube IMO.. I'd look at a powerhead that pushes between 400 and 700gph. For reference, I have 2 Sicce Voyager nanos (530gph each) along with my return pump in my 30gal mixed reef. That combination makes for more than enough flow to keep even the most neediest of coral.

I have a new 32 biocube as well. I went with hydor 425 and have two,one on each side and they are hooked up to the koralia smart wave controller which I have set to alternate every 6 hours. Recommend some sort of ato and if you can swing it a controller. Has made life easier if not there for 2 3 days in a row.
