First I'm assuming that this is green clove, clavularia (I'm still pretty new to corals) It is obviously very happy in my tank, having doubled in size it the 3 months or so that it has been there. Is there a way to prune or otherwise control it? It is on it's own rock that it only shares with some xenia that I tried to remove but is now regrowing, so that might keep it from spreading.

Following. Looks like what I was told is rainbow clove. I have a large colony that needs a haircut.
