Unfortunately I have shut down selling Chaeto. Post office is too unreliable and shipping any other method isn't cost effective. Thanks everyone!
Clean Corona / Pest Free Chaeto for your refugiums! This Chaeto is very thick and healthy. Great for managing/lowering nitrates/phosphates/nutrient export. It is seeded with 5280 Pods but cant promise there will be any or that they will arrive alive. I no longer ship via USPS first class mail. It has proven to be unreliable. I now ship via USPS 2-3 day priority which has resulted in a slight price increase.
5-6 Ounce Order (Fluffed out is the size of a volleyball or bigger) = $25 shipped w/ tracking.
1 Pound = $59 shipped (when available).
Pictures below are of 6 ounces and a "Bigger Order". For reference Algaebarn sells a golf ball size (1 ounce) for $20 or tennis ball (2 ounces) for $35 or soft ball (4 ounces?) for $65.
My light = Kessil H380 Halo II on grow setting, 12 inches away from my chaeto. 12 hours every night (reverse light schedule). I use a mini power head to assist with flow through chamber.
Parameters = Alk 8, Calcium 440, Mag 1350, Nitrates 2-5, phosphates .03-.07, temp 78-79.
