Clean those Trident cuvettes

I noticed my Neptune Trident had some algae growing inside the cuvette the other day. Today I cleaned it out, (disassembly required) and retested it. Here is the comparison between before and after. As you can see, a dirty cuvette increases the readings.

Calibrating the Trident correctly is a must. The calibration solution bottle must be around the same height the sample line is in normal operation. Also, the sample line must be routed and purged correctly before and after calibration.

I thought priming was part of the calibration function. This gives me hope it can be more accurate. I will try it this way.

I wait 1 year and half, I use the automatic 4x schedule. It was dusty. I will put that on 6 months schedule

+1 on cuvette cleaning first time in 18 months. Immediately then calibrated with 3 reagent change as well. Readings are waaaaaaay more consistent. Mostly straight lines again.
