I have a 13.5 gallon tank. I was getting brown algae and green algae on my rocks. I purchased 4 Trochus snails, 3 cerith snail and I have a turbo astrea snail. The trochus snails in the span of 24 hours devoured all the algae that I could see. My question is what are some things you guys add to your tank to feed your CUC crew if their isn’t any algae visible.

Good question, I had 3 snails in the same size tank, they all died, not sure if it was because the food ran out or something else, interest to see if there is a food source that can be added.
I have a cleaner shrimp and he takes care of all the scraps in the tank.

I have tried the seaweed and I haven’t seen them go for it. I am assuming that just means their is still algae present that they are eating and I can’t see. I also bought Phyto feast in hopes this would help feed them as it supposedly has different type of algae in it.

So I added some green marine algae seaweed and my snails found it instantly and started eating it.

phyto-feast is more of a phytoplankton instead of an algae that forms films. While it can settle into the tank, it takes some effort, like no flow, in order for it to settle and start growing.

I think there's also an interesting "snello" recipe in the general invertebrates forum somewhere...

I run the same size (Evo?) tank, you need to remove all but one or two or they will starve.

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll pick up some snails, now I know I can feed them, I do like the movement they add to the tank.

I've got 1 trochus, 2 nassarius, and 2 turbos. No algae in the tank, so I feed nori rubberbanded to a rock. The nassarius and the turbos find it and eat it ok, but the trochus, has been in the corner on the glass since I got him with very little movement, haven't seen him eat or move much. Not sure if they are active at night or what the go is.

I had 3 trochus, when I added them only 1 moved around the tank none stop, 1 moved a little , the other hardly moved at all.
I put it down to them being very delicate and the lack of food in the tank didn’t help.
